Zeman Consulting Group (ZCG) is an FDOT certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) founded in March of 2021 to provide Professional Surveying and Mapping services in workgroups 8.1,8.2 and 8.4. ZCG was formed by three licensed surveyors who combined their FDOT resources and knowledge to create a company that uses the latest technology to deliver a quality project within budget and on schedule consistently. ZCG’s president, Derek Zeman, is a Florida native with a 35-year history of managing successful projects in the South Florida area. Lee Powers and Eric Detassis, co-owners of ZCG, have a combined total of 68 years of surveying in the South Florida area. Together they perform duties at every level, including overseeing two survey office technicians, two survey and two SUE field crews.

The firm’s focus is to understand our client’s needs and to consistently exceed their expectations. This includes being responsive, adhering to schedule, and delivering a product that has been fully reviewed through a QA/QC process.
